How beautiful it is this morning to look out the window and see the fresh falling snow. It falls in slow motion. I put on the Scottish tenor Kenneth MacKellar and I find life very pleasant today.
My husband is picking on me because I have set a table out for the crows. They were calling for me the minute I opened the door. I did not want their breadcrumbs to get soggy in the snow. Therefore, I set out a table for them.
I ordered a forty pound bag of black oil sunflower seeds to attract the birds, but only the crows come. They are smart too.
I will set another table later today as I am having my neighbors in for a pre-Thanksgiving Day dinner. They will be traveling next week and it seems a pity that they will miss out on dining for a tr aditional Holiday dinner. I prepared the stuffing, and as I jot down my thoughts, a seventeen pound turkey cooks in the oven.
My son has a half day from school today. He will be home soon. Then I will take him to the next town North of here for an appointment.
